BAD SECTOR

Hard drives are storage media, which is very important in the computer. Unfortunately, the use of the limited age. Damage to the hard disk can be caused by several things. For example:

* Power supply is inadequate and damage the hard drive and motor Controller.

Stages 1

a. Make a hard disk partition: With the program fdisk partition with 1 alone, both primary or extended partition. 4. Bad sector conditions:
- Display on the program format: 91%
- Percentages that can be used: discarded
5. Both conditions:
- Display on the program format: 91-100%
- Percentages that can be used: 9%

c. Create a partition again: With fdisk, remove all partitions on your hard disk before, and make appropriate partition note that the damage occurred. Assumptions in the picture below is the creation of the partition with the Primary and Extended partitions. In the Primary partition is not visible, and only indicated the extended partition. The division in the picture below is on the drive D and F (22MB and 12 MB) discarded because there is a bad sector. While the E and G (758MB and 81MB) as the drive is still in good condition and can be used.

If you persevere enough to improve your bad sector, can also be done with the try-error repeat the search with the location of bad sector on the hard drive in the smaller stages, for example, make a lot of partition to minimize the possibility terbuangnya space on the partition will be removed. d. To ensure that bad sector is located on the hard drive partition that will be discarded, do all in the format the drive letter with the Format command / C. If indeed there is a bad sector on the partition removed (on the assumption that the test is bad sector on the drive letter D and F), the partitions can be removed immediately. F. At the end of the stage you can check back with a hard disk partition option 4 (Display partitisi) on the program fdisk, for example in the picture below is the remaining 3 drives: C as a primary partition (not visible), 2 extended partitions that are still good and the partition that contains bad sector have been deleted.

G. End of the process. You have a hard drive with a condition that has been improved because of bad sector. Letter divided on the C drive as the primary partition and used as a boot, D (758MB) and E (81MB) is to partition 2 and 3 in the extended partition.

If you are not satisfied with the results of the search for bad sectors, then you can repeat the above prosesur. Tips for doing this should know the procedure to create a partition with the fdisk program.
